His raw, husky vocals don an Aussie accent (as made famous by Missy Higgins) and speak of hearts breaking, dreams yet to be reached and a lifetime waiting. These may be the lyrics of a sensitive guy, but there is definitely no sugar or cotton wool to soften the blow. Dave's words are real, raw and straight to the point.
